Questions about my art

Q: What medium do you paint with?
A: I mostly use acrylic paint, colored pencils, markers and ink pen.

Q: What type of paper do you use?
A: Most of my paintings and drawings are made on Bateman acid free
paper and I also use watercolor paper as well as Strathmore Bristol paper.

Q: Do you take commissions?
A: Definitely! I am available for any kinds of commissioned work such as book illustration, logos, concept art, etc! I will tell you right now though, this is my full-time job and I will definitely not work for free. Fees for a commissioned painting usually start around the price of $500 and up, depending on the amount of work, size, purpose, etc. Obviously each case is different and so are the prices. If you are interested in hiring me for your project please contact me at: delphine@zerick.com

Q: What type of prints do you sell?
A: The prints I am currently selling are 8.5″x11″ on soft-gloss high quality
paper hand-signed, titled and dated by me! I will most likely start selling
bigger sized prints in a near future so stay tuned!

Q: Have you ever been published in a book?
A: Yes! Some of my artwork appears in the book “Vampire Art Now” available on amazon here.

You can also find my art featured in the book “The Future of Erotic Fantasy Art” also available on amazon here.

I have also illustrated the cover of the novel “Prince Not So Charming” by Kathleen Grace available on amazon here.

Or visit the book’s official website at http://princenotsocharming.com/

Q: Can I use your art for a tattoo on myself?
A: Of course! You are welcome to use my artwork as a reference for
your tattoo! It is always such an honor for me to know that some people
enjoy my work to the point they want to have it permanently on their
body! Oh and if you do, please feel free to send me pictures of the result!

Questions about this website:

Q: What is the meaning behind your site name “zerick.com”?
A: Zerick, who I named my website after, is the name of a character I created when I was only about 8-10 years old.
This mysterious character has been following me since then and is in my dreams and lives in my own little world.
He grew up with me in my mind and has always reflected my current feelings, thoughts, secrets, personal tastes and my own philosophy about certain things. I have been drawing him in many different ways for more than half of my life.

Q: Who made this website?
A: My dear friend and fellow artist Kayti Welsh and I designed this website together. I make pretty graphics and stuff but she really is the creative genius and geek behind it all! If you wish to hire her for the creation of your own website and projects, please visit her website at KaytiDesigns.com – she would love to hear from you!
